The Beauty Lounge on Main: Meet the Staff

	Eva is our founder, head stylist, and true fashionista. Although she's young in her years, and known for having 'blond moments,' she's seen and done more than your average stylist. Before opening The Beauty Lounge, Eva completed a two year apprenticeship, assisted in opening a salon in Carmel, and opened her own studio, Rock and Chic Studio. She's also styled Kendra Wilkinson's hair for photo shoots and been named an Indianapolis Monthly Top Stylist. Now that's impressive! But seeing her clients smile and know they feel relaxed and beautiful is what makes it worth it for Eva. She loves every aspect of hair designing, from the color, to the cut, to the amazing styling work. Although owning and running The Beauty Lounge occupies most of her time, she enjoys going to the gym to do yoga and pilates, reading/writing, traveling (especially to the Caymans), and watching movies. As the youngest of four children, she also enjoys spending time with her six adorable nieces and nephews. Looking to the future, Eva looks forward to continuing to expand her business and giving her employees a fun and enjoyable environment to work in.
	Shawna, our makeup goddess, loves making our clients feel beautiful and confident. She is certified in both makeup application and eyelash extensions. Along with standard makeup techniques, she has also perfected the art of airbrush makeup application. Known as a perfectionist, she keeps herself busy keeping up with the most current looks and trends in the industry. When she isn't busy transforming people, Shawna loves spending time outside with her husband of ten years and their two children (Colin, 8 and Grace, 4). She also enjoys hitting up the links in her spare time. To get away from the cold Indiana weather, Shawna loves traveling to Arizona, not only for its warm weather and beautiful scenery, but to visit her parents and sister.
	Joni is our apprentice and is part of our guests' services. Joni graduated with honors from Aveda Fredric's Institute. While she was studying there, she received the Brilliant Award for having the highest retail sales. What we love about Joni is that she is an education junkie. She believes in the fact that you never keep learning and you are forever evolving as an individual and as a stylist. One of Joni's best attributes is being able to mold each strand of hair into an art piece, creating an individual style for each client. On Joni's off time she loves to travel to places where she can truly escape, relax, and shop. She is also known for her great sense of style and her red hair. Her goals are to travel more and educate and strengthen her career overall.
	Alice was born in South America but spent most of her childhood in the Indianapolis area. Alice also spent numerous years out West in the sunny LA area. While Alice was living in LA, this brought her more aware of her love for makeup and fashion. Alice graduated from Yamano Beauty College. She brings to us over 15 years of experience in skin care and makeup. Her skills show everyday when she is with a client here at The Beauty Lounge. The most enjoyable part of her job is working with her guests to create skin care treatment or hairstyles that best suit their personality and lifestyle. She is also really interested in working on photo shoots and has had the privilege of working with some the best models and photographers in the area. Alice is definitely known as the," Brow lady." With that being known, she is very comfortable and knowledgeable in waxing services. When she's not busy taking care of her clients and building her career, she is listening to music and always staying active by biking and dancing. This mother of two also enjoys spending time with her family.
	Adina, a native of Indianapolis and graduated from Kaye's Beauty College. After beauty school Adina went on to do a 1-year apprentice training program at one of the top salons in the Midwest. Since then, she's become a true master of wedding hair, styling, blowouts, and men's cuts. If you want to pop in for a blowout or a quick style, Adina is your girl! She also enjoys all other aspects of hair especially color. Adina is highly educated and trained in GK Juvexin Smoothing treatment. Her favorite part about working as a stylist is just having the opportunity to make her clients happy. "Seeing the smile on their face once you're done is what makes everything worth it!" When she's not busy at The Beauty Lounge, Adina loves to cook, run and drink wine (but not at the same time). She also loves to vacation and has hopes of traveling to Europe soon.
Coming Soon!	Melissa joins The Beauty Lounge as a guest service representative. She is originally from Michigan, but moved to the wonderful city of Indianapolis six years ago. Joining The Beauty Lounge team has allowed her the opportunity to work in a new environment and expands on her skills and talents. She loves the challenge of having multiple projects going and feeling great after everything is accomplished. It's safe to say that there's never a dull moment at the Beauty Lounge for Melissa. She enjoys taking care of the clients, from the front end, and watching each one walk out happier than when they came in. She loves customer service, pampering each client and tending to every need. Outside of the salon, she enjoys exploring wineries and attending concerts. Blessed with the talent of cooking, she also loves trying out new restaurants or entertaining at home. Melissa also enjoys spending time with her two young children.
